"Booked hotel through expedia. On arrival they informed us of double booking and there is no rooms available to accommodate. Hotel staff where not helpful to resolve the problem. Since location is more then an hour away from the city. The closest hotel was an hour away."

"There are 3 hotels on site, make sure you choose the right one. We stayed at the Al Waha, which is family focused and has a lot of children. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. The restaurants tend towards the expensive end, with very few cheaper alternatives. The facilities are clean and in good condition, although the carpet in the rooms needs to updated or replaced."

Det är dock mycket lyhört så att man hör folk i korridoren, hissklockan mm och dessutom har man en nattklubb som ofta spelar musik långt in på natten. Om man har minsta problem med störande ljud under natten kanske man skall bo någon annanstans."

We were able to get into our upgraded room early and spent our first day relaxing at the beach. The high tea was splendid, happy hour was great with lots of staff on hand to make sure everyone had their drinks and breakfast was superb. "

Food options are excellent especially Indian restaurants in 2 minute walking distance (Cochin restaurant). The location enables easy 10 minute access to Mutrah souq and many attractions of Muscat. "
