The staff were brilliant especially at the front desk reception and at the resturants. Other hotels got to learn about hospitality from them. The hotel is less worried about tips but more for the quality of service which is unlikely in most hotels of today.
Nice place with authentic Nepali design and a great view on mountains. There’s a fireplace inside the room which really cool for cold nights.

The owners know how to make people comfortable and are eager and helpful to do so. They are building more rooms on the upper floors. Everything about it is what you would expect at a Marriott anywhere else in the world except for the concierge staff. The excellent concierge staff certainly justified the 5th star.
