Best hotel I have stayed at in quite some time. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The homemade bread was excellent. The room was bigger than expected and the beds were comfortable. We stayed here to get away from the crowds at Venice and could not have picked a more relaxing area. The river runs right next to it. The town has a train station with a direct route to Venice. We drove our car to the station (plenty of free parking) and took the train in to Venice each day. I would highly recommend...
I have stayed in many hotels and Villa Braida is by far the most beautiful. It has 2 buildings. The main building with the reception is where my wife and I stay and it is a beautifully maintained villa built in 1784. It is set on large grounds in the country with extensive gardens decorated with numerous statues. Although we arrived on a late flight, they sent a taxi to pick us up at the airport and bring us to the hotel (€40). Despite our late arrival, the reception was gracious and offered...

If you don't want to be dragging your suitcases around cobblestone streets and are looking for a reasonable place to stay outside of Venice this is it. We flew out of the little airport nearby and wanted to spend an afternoon in Venice. We had a car, so this was the perfect spot. It was clean, the included breakfast was adequate, the staff was friendly. Definitely would recommend.
The room was fine, and it was nice that they had an electric kettle to make tea. There's no restaurant at the hotel but they have a shuttle that will take you over to a nearby one, just a few blocks away, for free. I was a bit disappointed that the airport shuttle was 15 euros and only took about 4 minutes to get there.
