"The view was absolutely amazing, but unfortunately the hotel booster pump was directly above our room, & could hear it running all night. The booster pump noise was completed by the smell of the septic tank coming through the bathroom vent, adding to the negative experience of the hotel. The hard mattress and the lack of bedding was the icing on the cake. You’ll probably want to find different accommodation. "

Restaurants excellent - large breakfast buffet, afternoon tea fantastic and had two very good meals at the Indian and Thai restaurants. There is one thing that really lets it down though and that is the loud music played during afternoon tea by a flautist to a backing soundtrack and the live band in the bar at night. In my opinion both overly loud and really impact the ambience. "

The only real downside was the location which was up at the top of a very steep road which a lot less accessible than portrayed. However, the views from the property were amazing and it was nice to be away from the crazy traffic and noise of Ella town. "
