The house is fantastic. Very nicely decorated with all amenities. Beautiful view of Reykjavik and a convenient drive to all of its sights. The owner Sigi is very welcoming and helpful. Can't ask for anything more!

Super friendly checkin even tho we were late, gorgeous views. Not much within walking distance, but all other ways EXCELLENT!

I traveled with my husband and 1 year old. This was a very clean place with a lot of space. We loved being able to do some grocery shopping to eat at our place at the end of the day. Great base - we explored Reykjavik, Snaefellsness peninsula from here. Wish I would have stayed here my first night as a base to explore the Golden Circle as well.

Staff was extremely helpful with ideas for things to do during a blizzard. Breakfast was wonderful and the room was cozy and warm. Great location.

Parking was really nice to be able to be in a garage.

Clean neat room, great staff, great services! Room does not have tooth brush or paste, soap otherwise perfect. Location not close to flybus stop is a probably the only minus.

I LOVED IT HERE! I am a single woman who travels alone, and my safety drives my decisions when I travel. Initially I regretted staying away from the city center, but after I figured out the logical bus system, I was grateful for being in a quiet area. My room was austere and clean. The kitchen was adequate. One thing I encourage the owners to invest in: a dresser or a shelf for guests to put their clothes. Four hangers is inadequate. The only thing I did not like was the church bell across the street that rings every 15 minutes, but the hotel provides ear plugs. They were a great help.

Such a nice place and great area. The bathroom was huge and the living areas cozy. Comfortable beds. A little tricky to find as it is on a street that is blocked on one end for street parking. We had no issues with parking.

The owner and staff were very accommodating and extremely helpful. They also went out of their way to make sure any questions we had were answered. Parking was free, great complimentary breakfast. Property is about a 40 minute drive from the airport, 15 min walk from the center of town. They really care about their business here. Support local small businesses. They truly care.

My husband, son (1 year), and I stayed here in November. The studio had a wonderful bathroom with a towel warmer! Believe me, you will want it. Great kitchenette and comfy beds. The hotel provides FREE milk, juice, and cereal for your stay. Oh, and tons of free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for FREE! The staff was very friendly. The property was beautiful. Updated, and the staff is very friendly. There was no parking, so that got a little pricey if you wanted to park close to the hotel, but I think that’s the norm in Reykjavík. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Iceland.

My stay at Alda & Iceland itself was wonderful. As a solo traveler I felt safe at the hotel & the front desk staff was very helpful as well as friendly! Room was cute & clean. They provided a coffee maker & mini fridge which I stored some items from the Bonus store 2 mins away. I was sad to leave.
