"We were very pleased with the location, cleanliness and helpful staff. The proprietor was willing to let us start breakfast a little early so we could get to the park on time. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety and eggs cooked to order."

"Really convenient for visiting Plitivice Park. Entrance 2 is just below the hotel. We paid for day passes for the park and they were able to extend them for the length of our stay, which was a nice bonus. The staff was really accommodating and helpful. They let us store our bags before/after check in and check out so that we could explore. They also gave us a free shuttle ride to the bus stop. Food options are so-so but you’re not there for the food. Our room was small and dated, but I think there are nicer, more recently updated options."

"Very nice little “cottage”, albeit more like a mini-hotel inside. You don’t have the whole place to yourself, there are several rooms. Very close to the national park (10 minutes walk) and surrounded by nice countryside. The rooms are spacious with a large bath, TV, mini-bar etc. The bathroom was a little small and dated in my opinion and didn’t quite match some of the other parts of the building. The bedding also felt a little cheap (e.g., the fitted sheet didn’t fit and kept coming off). There is a restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner, which is lucky, because there’s little else nearby. Food options are decent, but they do work out expensive. You also need to pay for food in cash. They were able to cater to food allergies, but you need to let them know in advance and make it very clear what type of allergies you have. The staff really make this place. They’re very helpful and knowledgeable and keen to chat. One of the only things I found annoying, was how many times I was messaged / contacted by the management. A lot of the messages were clearly automated, as there were spaces for details that hadn’t been completed. On the other hand, messages directly from the staff were helpful."

"From the photos I expected a dusty rustic cabin. Instead I found a clean room, although the furniture was a bit dated. The bathroom was modern and clean. The kitchenette was small but effective. The Nespresso machine was appreciated. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. You leave your luggage in their parking lot, where an attendant picks up and delivers it to your room/cabin. We had an upstairs unit so climbing stairs was required. Being upstairs we could sleep with the windows open and enjoy the cool breeze and sound of crickets. We took advantage of the sauna, which you need to reserve. The staff was helpful and courteous. I'd stay there again. A wonderful bonus Fenomen Resort offers is the incredible Plitvice National Park waterfalls view you get from following a short trail through the forest. The last two or three kilometers to the resort is on a narrow winding road up the hill but it's worth it."
