"La habitacion era coml un tipico Cottage ingles con las habitaciones en pisos diferentes y cada una con su baño. Todo muy bucolico y comodo. El precio un poco elevado para lo que era ya que no habia ningun servicio adicional ademas del restaurante con un menu de 70£ por persona u el bar."

"This was just an overnight after driving up from Dornoch and getting on the ferry to Orkney at Gills Bay the next morning. However Eilean and Graeme greeted us in the parking area and helped us move into our room. Provided us with lots of info on their property and where to eat. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast in the morning had lots of variety and our choices were delicious. "

The food in the restaurant was also excellent. Was a bit uncertain when ordering as I read some older reviews, but that was obviously in the past before this family took over. "

"We booked online last minute called up to say we would arrive in 30 minutes, the staff was very eel and helpful. We was shown to our room then went down for an evening meal, the food was excellent and we was made to feel as part of the family, it is a lovely warm feel place with lovely people and the rooms was amazing the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful we would highly recommend staying in the Manor and meeting this lovely family it’s one of the best I have ever...

"This is a remote spot with not many accommodation options and yet this is a very nice place to stay. Welcoming, good food and lots of very pleasant lounge space. Well equipped for cyclists too. Recommended. "

"The guest house itself is pretty good. Fancy giant room, with very large bathroom. Fluffy towels and very nice bed linens. Unfortunately all that goes down the toilet as the owner wasn’t very nice. It didn’t happen to us directly, however we witnessed a very regrettable moment during breakfast time. Some other fellow guests were complaining about the breakfast -which is continental breakfast, so don’t expect the full Scottish one- and the owner didn’t take it well and got very aggressive...
