"Sadly, a good experience during the stay became uncomfortable when they accused me of damaging the kettle in my room, they accused me of having used it with milk, which is incorrect and I categorically deny it, I used the kettle properly with water for coffee and tea, on the other hand, they found milk in a cup because I ate cereal but with cold milk, at no time did I use the kettle to heat milk. I don't care about the £20 they charged me, but I do care to make it clear that it was a false...

"Hotel was easy to find and with plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to all requests. Room was lovely and spacious as too the bathroom. Aircon was a pkus with it being quite hot when visited in the summer. Lovely dining area with plenty of seating, we ate outside and food was delicious in the evening and at breakfast. I would order breakfast when booking as it is £15 and not £10 as advertised. Will stay again whrn in the area."

"It isn’t a large hotel which makes it much more personable. Beautiful spacious rooms, especially the ones over looking the river with Juliet balcony, where you can watch the ducks & swans- all very idyllic. Staff are helpful & always available.
Downstairs gives plenty of traditional country style pub vibes. If you are looking for an upmarket place to relax & chill out, this is the place to be. A major plus is the free on site parking. There is a 2 tier parking area next to hotel.

"Lovely hotel and room, check in was a bit confusing as we weren’t sure which building Reception was in-ended up having to get back into the car with all our luggage and driving to the lodge which was some distance from the Reception we’d gone to-there are two.
Bathroom looked lovely initially, however when used the toilet flush need Amazonian strength and the shower didn’t drain it could also have done with a bit of Mould and mildew remover. "

But the most improvable thing, from my point of view, is the wifi service: why MUST I log in via Facebook? ( I tried, but I was unable to log in. The other "option" was to fill-in a document with personal data). It was a rather negative point in an otherwise nice- and a bit pricey- stay."

"We received a warm welcome on arrival. Our rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped including a comfortable bed and great shower. All staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant twice, both meals were excellent. I cannot think of anything negative to say and I would definitely stay again and recommend to others."
