We loved the pool, sauna, steam room. We stopped for two nights to rest after a busy grad week. The rooms were nice and the food was great. Couldn’t book a spa treatment as they were all booked up. Everyone we met were friendly. We will be back.
This is a gem of a hotel. Wonderful location, 2 min walk from Leeds train station. Restaurants & pubs close by. Staff is soo helpful & kind, happy. I’d highly recommend. Rooms/ apts are beautiful. Very comfy beds. It’s a retreat from the city & fast paced travel.
It's a great pub/hotel. I always stay there in the area (usually taking friends to climb Pendle Hill.) There's always a friendly welcome, good food, and the bedrooms are excellent
The staff made this stay exceptional. Everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, Check-in was smooth, and throughout our stay the team was professional, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of.
The location was another highlight. It’s in a great spot with easy access to the city centre, shops, restaurants, and public transport, making it convenient to explore Leeds on foot. It’s an excellent base. Close to the train station.I’d definitely stay here again.
Loved my stay! The staff was super friendly and nice, felt very welcomed. The room was comfortable and clean. Parking was easy and convenient. The breakfast was perfect, I also dinned in the restaurant and loved everything. Banana Toffee Waffle dessert is well worth the calories!
I had a choice of hotels in Leeds or the Black Horse. I'm so glad I chose the latter. Some extra driving, but great to be in a historic building in a historic area, and so close to the motorway and service station.
This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at. The staff were exceptionally friendly, from the servers in the restaurant to the groundskeeper. The staff was also very knowledgeable about the history of the location. Dinner and Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend Holdsworth and would easily stay here again
