It's about a 20 minute taxi ride from the city center which is just far enough to be out in the peaceful Scottish countryside. This was my second stay at Voco Haymarket. I want to say how utterly marvelous the staff are. Super polite, helpful, capable, professional from front desk, house keeping to breakfast waitstaff. I think it is one of the best hotels I have stayed at because of the staff. It's also spotlessly clean, quiet with a wonderful breakfast buffet. Great restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the tram. It will always be my first pick when staying in Edinburgh.

Excellent trip from start to finish. We arrived early, but the rooms were already ready. And we got a fantastic upgrade! The concierge helped us plan out our sightseeing for the following day, as well as made a great dinner recommendation and reservation. Drinks and food at Peacock Alley and the Caley bar were excellent. The service was wonderful - I wish I could remember all the staffs’ name who assisted us. Thanks for an excellent stay!
