Hotels in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse

"I booked a room with a double bed and we barely were able to just lie down without even turning and we are both regular size persons. Extremely tiny room, very uncomfortable and small bed. Breakfast was ok but modest- no eggs, no hot foods. Convenient location and very helpful staff but would not stay there again. There is a patio outside so people sit there until late hours of the night and it’s super loud if you are looking for quiet, relaxing hotel - this is not a place. Also, there was a large group of american tourists who were extremely loud and disrespectful at 6am sitting outside laughing and talking very loud without having any consideration for other hotel guests possibly sleeping or wanting to rest."

"The service level of the staff was exceptional. Food was very tasty. Beautiful property. Rooms were quiet and even though my room was across from the elevator did not hear any noise. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. They only had a washing gel, unlike most hotels that have a variety of products. Disappointed that the outdoor pool was not open until noon on the day of check out. When I had asked at check in they confirmed it was closed with no date given to reopen. I would have appreciated a communication about it opening. Did not use the spa services. "

"My stay as a solo traveler was very comfortable. Both young men at the front desk were very helpful and kind, and upon check in, the staff member provided helpful information for my stay. The apartment is very spacious, and important to note; the linens were crisp and bathroom was very clean. The property is a little dated, but it was wonderful for the 4 nights I was in the area. Please note; you must have a car as there is nothing within walking distance. I hope this helpful. I did not choose to have breakfast on the property."

"We loved the place. Very well located, near the train station, and walking distance to all Avignon sites. There are very good restaurants with a 5 min walk. The room was ample and clean. Shower was great. Service excellent. Good breakfast. Overall very happy."

"Everything was perfect - check menu before you have dinner - what is posted online is different from restaurant menus - my husband and I got 2 different menus at dinner - we went elsewhere - town square has many options The staff is great!!!"

"This hotel is in a very good location with everything in walking distance. The staff is very nice and the room is very clean. The only problem we had was the room temperature. It was so hot at night that we didn’t have a good sleep but we were unable to adjust the AC! When I checked this hotel before booking, I had the impression that I had to bring all of my toiletries because they are not listed in the room amenities section, neither is the housekeeping service, but this hotel provides everything so Expedia should correct these information,"

"$12eu for Uber from TGV to this hotel after traveling all day to find out there is nothing to eat within walking distance in the afternoon... not the hotels fault. We should have stayed in Avignon... it's only $14eu from TGV to 20+ hotels and 30+ restaurants. That said... this hotel lived up to the Best Western standards we are use too by offering a good night's sleep in a beautiful rural setting."
