The apartment was reasonably clean. However, the sleeping quarter is rather cramp. It is above the bathroom with a tiny ladder to go up and down. It is only 4ft high, so one has to bend down all the time.

Air conditioning worked well and when windows were closed, they kept out any street noise. So, very quiet at night. Never heard any other guests in their apartments.

I stayed at the Hôtel des Arts during my recent trip to Toulouse. I spent 3.5 days in Toulouse, walking around the city, taking boat tours and visiting museums. I recommend this hotel highly for anyone who is looking for an affordable place to stay in the city. The location is a perfect: around the corner from the wonderful Museum de Agustine and a small square full of terrific cafes, it's also a pleasant 10 minute walk from shopping, the metro and the tourist center.
