"Stayed at Hotel Casa Aluge in Zona Colonial and had a great experience. The location is perfect — you can walk to restaurants, historic sites, and cafés within minutes. The rooms need an upgrade, but are clean, comfortable, and well air-conditioned, which is a big plus in Santo Domingo. Breakfast was included and very fresh each morning — simple but delicious and homemade-style. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay feel welcoming and personal. The staff was consistently friendly and attentive. The room was squeaky clean, the sheets were noticeably fresh, and the hot water for the shower was perfect. While I only had coffee, the breakfast was decent and offered great essentials, including mangu, eggs, fruit, and fresh juice. I would absolutely stay here again!"
