"What a fascinating property-a chance to sleep in a historic castle! The property has been well renovated: the rooms are large & have luxury features…..like heated bathroom floors!! The breakfast buffett was huge - I loved the festive tree-shaped scrambled egg molds. We loved exploring the common rooms & seeing all the historic furniture."

"We really enjoyed our stay on the castle property! The rooms were very clean, service was attentive and prompt, and access was easy. The castle exterior is impressive and has been well-kept. The castle interior is now more of an exhibition space than anything resembling castle quarters or museum. But again, that is the castle. The hotel rooms themselves were ornate, clean, and beds were comfortable. We reserved one of the bridal suites, so we had an abundance of space. Overall, it was an excellent value for money spent. Oh - and the breakfast was impressive! Eggs, bacon, breads, lots of fruit, and excellent coffee/cappuccino (of course!). Delicious! And the dining hall felt very much like it was part of a castle... a fun experience. Thank you!!! If we are ever in the region again I would not hesitate to stay at Wasserschloss Klaffenbach hotel. :-) -Andrew Braun"

"Zu bemängeln wäre: Nasszelle mit WC sehr eng (1;5m x 1,5m), undichte Duschkabine, Vorhänge von den Fenstern liessen sich nur sehr schwer zuziehen (Gardinenleiste defekt), Stühle kalt und unbequem, Kühlschrank defekt, Übergardinen mit Löchern, Möbel veraltet, kein Kosmetikspiegel und Tücher "
