The hotel is remote, a drive with steep curves if you are driving a manual transmission, but so worth it. It is less than an hour from the Frankfurt airport. My room was up two floors with no elevator but the hotel staff carried up the suitcases without a problem. There are 2 restaurants, one is a high end gourmet establish for the "foodie" crowd. I was looking for a nice accommodation with reasonable distance of about an hour or less to Frankfurt Airport the night before a morning flight. There was a giant auto manufacturing show/conference in Frankfurt the week of our Germany visit and hotels directly in and around the city were astronomically expensive (all over 300 Euros).
