What a beautiful place! The building used to be a monastery, and it still has a small but gorgeous chapel. The service was excellent, breakfast had a lot of variety, and the restaurant for dinner was tasty. Location wise it's perfect. It's a 5 minute drive to the town Cangas de Onis, where you can take the buses up to Covadonga and the lakes, and also explore the town, which is very pretty. Tons of good restaurants there too. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff was absolutely wonderful and treated my dog like royalty. I brought him as a pet because he is my wife’s registered service dog, yet he has never been treated that well! I reserved the economy room, which was just fine for one night. The only issue I encountered was the steam heater in the bathroom was on when I checked in and it took it a very long time to cool down. Luckily, there was a fan in the room, and with the window open it was fine. If you like your room, cool...
