This was clearly the nicest place we stayed on our bike trip from Carcassonne to Sete. The host couple, Natalie and Sebastien, could not have more welcoming or helpful. Their quiet little chambres de hotes is very close to the Canal du Midi path and very relaxing. Our one night stay offered everything we needed. 10 minutes from the center of Narbonne, Novotel has easy parking and easy freeway access. The pool is large and welcoming, and they have towels for guests. The reception area and bar have lots of natural light. The best surprise was that the fitness center has new equipment and air conditioning - rare in France. It’s not large but was nice. Highly recommend. And the town of Norbonne has a magnificent cathedral and palace - worth a short visit.
