"Beautiful hotel, and one of the best in Lagos. A very good value for your money… staff were very nice and helpful. We (my Husband and I) enjoyed our stay throughout. The room was very big, the living room was perfect too. The bathroom is so lovely… generally feels so homely. I would book again when next I visit Nigeria. To top it all, a very clean hotel."
"Staff were rude - lots of them milling about but not very forthcoming to help. Room was nice as long as you did not look too much! Shower was coming loose off the wall. Not much choice of TV stations. Conference facilities were appalling. The AV system was of very poor quality - only hand held microphones that were very poor, cutting out all the time and sound quality terrible. Screens also need an update. "
"I stayed at Flora Suites for a week with my fiance and his best friend, and it was a wonderful first time experience. I would admit the place could do with a little modern day upgrades but other than that it was always very clean. It is a safe and secure environment, just 12 minutes away from the airport and just walking distance from the mall and market. Let me tell you about the food, I enjoyed every one of their meals that I ate, the food was well seasoned. My compliments to the chefs. My favorite was the pepper soup with fish and yam. The owner is down to earth and will and available to fix any problem you might have. The staff was friendly but professional. All in All I would most definitely be visiting with Flora Suites anytime I'm in Lagos again. I recommend that if you want a reasonable home away from home settings, visit Flora Suites."
"Upon arrival staff informed us that though the room was prepaid Hotels.com does not pay the property. The owner gave the staff orders to collect local payment. We complied and paid with the owner's word that he cancelled the Hotels.com reservation. We waited for a hotels.com email but received none. We checked out after a sleepless night due to 3 bed bugs discovered at about 1 a.m. Upon vacating the next morning, the owner assured us of repayment for the one night we did not use by TUESDAY (tomorrow). Hotels.com does not give an option for information about this..Also the property claims to have 13 swimming pools but had only 1."
