We arrived just prior to the start of the summer season so many area attractions were just opening. The hotel was right on the beach and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had 2 extra beds, so this hotel is clearly catering to families. They also included a very nice breakfast in their waterfront restaurant. Overall this is a great spot for a family beach holiday. Located about 15 minutes by car from local tourist attractions in Termoli its just far enough to be relaxing...
It’s a stone building beautifully restored and decorated! The owners, a young couple, Antonio and Loredana are very nice and accommodating. Maria, the housekeeper is adorable and does a great job! The room is cleaned every day! We will definitely come back and have already recommended Residenzia Ortensia to family and friends.
This place was a beautiful old historical Palazzo. The room was immaculate and bright, and the bed was comfortable. We had a large balcony overlooking the center of town. The staff was excellent and tended to our every need. There were restaurants and wine bars and gelaterias everywhere. What a wonderful place. We will be returning. Aunque todo estuvo muyyy bien, lo mejor fue el restaurante, en el almuerzo nos comimos entre muchas otras cosas una cazuela Vasta, que estaba sencillamente espectacular y al otros día una pasta con langosta de chuparse los dedos y lo mejor de todo dentro del mismo hotel, sin tener que salir a ningún lado. Excelente chef👏
El desayuno que estaba incluido estuvo bien, pedimos huevos fritos y los hicieron, café al gusto también y había buena selección de jamones, quesos y panes.

Everything was great. The people and the area wonderful. Nice little town of 3400. The views were spectacular. The one thing that would have made it perfect was the hot tub only got to 33° C. Other than that, it's definitely a go to.
Comfortable place and front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast and again, friendly helpful staff. Beach was close and had a nice walking/biking path. Looks like a good summer location.
It was an excellent hotel. Clean,friendly, and the food was excellent. Service was excellent. It came with buffet breakfast collezione. They offered Pensione for lunch and dinner which is choice in meals for a set price which included wine. It was 20 euro a person. We would return there again. We highly recommend Hotel Sporting!
To be honest this was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel looked new and was really clean and very comfortable. The person at the desk didn't speak English and we didn't speak Italian but we had no trouble at all. Great place to stay.
Beautiful location and in the center of Vasto, walkable to everything. Easy to check in and great breakfast. Highly recommend. Room was very nice and had a small kitchen and even a balcony. Great place.
I travel to Italy quite a bit and have lived here 9 years of my life. This truly is aming the finest quality experience in every sense you can measure. We highly recommend this lodging and Termoli is a "must stop" location. The staff is great and they go out of their way to add value and quality. New, clean, modern, and fine service.

The bed was firm (OK), but the pillows were like rocks.
The forced air heating was on intermittently through the night, with very drying effects, even with the temperature set at 20°.
The bar across the street where one had to go for breakfast had essentially zero choices for pastries. It also did not open early (on a Monday).

Checking in was seamless and the room was spotless! The host was super attentive to make sure everything was okay. The property is located near the town center and everything you need is within walking distance. I highy recommend booking this BNB!
This was truly one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we have stayed on our Italian trip thus far! Marina and Lorenzo are amazing hosts! The dinner and breakfast was spectacular! I bought several of the farm grown products to bring back to the US! If we come back to this part of Italy this is where we will stay again! Top notch! 5 stars all the way!
