Glarnerhof has always been a great place to stay and to eat. The restaurant is very busy with locals for lunch and dinner. I had lamb twice that was so mild that I might have thought it was beef. The hotel is undergoing a remodel which will be done soon but I did not encounter too much trouble from that. Staff was nice and some speak excellent English which is nice for those of us who didn't have a chance to learn German. Lots of parking available in the lot next to the train station for...
Very nice rooms, firm bed and excellent breakfast. Dinner was very good, too, with excellent service. Location is one minute from bus and boat stop and the lake.
Das Hotel at Säntis is nothing like a 3* hotel. I would give it 4 1/2* for sure. From check in to check out the staff looks sfter you, is super friendly and help ful. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. View of the mountain is stunning. The restaurant serves a very good breakfast buffet as well as dinner. Quality of the food is very high using a lot of regionally sourced products, inclusing cheese from the cheese fsctory across the street.

We traveled to Switzerland for the first time and decided to stay here instead of Zurich because it was cheaper. It is far from all the touristy places but that made our stay more peaceful being away from all the crowds we rented a car so location wasn’t a huge problem for us since we just drove everywhere. Breakfast buffet was pretty good and convenient.
Room was very clean and modern. Convenient to where I was visiting. There were really no amenities, services,or even staff on hand, but it all worked out perfectly.

The main attraction of this hotel is the view. It is incredible and cannot be beat. Breakfast was nice also.
Automated check in was easy but took me a few minutes to find notes about where to park.

Absolutely amazing place! Our whole family enjoyed our stay. Stuff is friendly and helpful, food was great at restaurant. Please book time with a dogs ahead and definitely recommend to pay for the SPA only $15 a person. Lucy speaks English well and super nice and knowledgeable about the dogs. Really recommend
What a unique and interesting property with an amazing Staff. One Person in particular, I believe her name was Leonia, went over and above to help us in any way possible . She was extremely caring and even made us food baskets for our early morning flight as we had to leave the hotel before breakfast time. We stayed in the tower and had amazing mountains and lake view. The only thing I would perhaps change was to have an actual buffet where the guest were to chose what they wanted to eat. Still,...
