The best accommodations we've had in Italy. The rooms are so cute! The stone walls, brick ceiling, and chandelier... I felt like I woke up in a castle. The entire property is just beautiful!! We were in the Iris apartment. It is lovely - very spacious, nice to have a kitchen and very conveniently located. The breakfast right next store for a very reasonable charge is a great and easy way to start the day. So many restaurants and shops in close proximity and we walked to all the attractions we visited - the duomo, underground, bell tower, museums and the exterior trail around the town. Highly recommend Orvieto for a nice contrast to the busyness of Rome.

We were delighted to stay at Hotel Podere Sette Piagge for our first night in Italy. It was a beautiful setting and our gracious hosts welcomed us and made us feel at home. Breakfast was outstanding as well.

This was a very special place for my husband and me. We felt relaxed and pampered in a perfect Italian countryside environment. A friend recommended it to me and she was spot on! The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were special, and the separate dining room made you feel like you were in the heart of Tuscany....because you are! Very comfortable and quiet place somewhat outside the town. We loved cooling in the pool before an excellent meal of cheese, salad, pasta and wild boar. The owners are a friendly family, and even picked us up in town when we phoned to say that we'd exhausted ourselves walking 20 km in high heat to reach the area.

Our experience at Michelangeli's B & B in Orvieto was exceptional! We stayed almost 2 weeks and never had a complaint. We found the room rate reasonable. Francesca, the owner, was kind and helpful but also gave us our privacy. Despite her broken English (and our broken Italian), we managed to communicate. The apartment was spotless and nicely furnished. We had plenty of coffee, juice and breakfast food stocked in the room. At your request, the owner will do your laundry - and do it well -...

great hotel, amazing staff.

First of all the thing you should know is that the town is a walled city like most of the towns in Tuscany. It is difficult to know where to park when you first get there. We ended up parking down at the bottom of the hill and only bringing a couple of backpacks with us up to the room. When we got there Luisa and Guiseppe were so nice, Luisa even came with me to move my car to someplace closer, and when there were no more spots gave up her spot and had me park there and then drove us back up to...

Even with a language barrier, our host and hostess were super helpful. Breakfast was a nice assortment of pastries, meats and cheeses. Very relaxing atmosphere.

You are staying in a building that is centuries old, so do not expect the Waldorf Astoria, but this hotel was SPOTLESS, the service was wonderful, our room was spacious (bathroom was the size of a small closet) and we were staying inside a 15th century fortress... you can not blend history, archeology and fun like this often. This hotel was also used for costuming for one of the Twilight movies and there are photos in the lobby for you to enjoy. They have a nice breakfast every morning......

This hotel offers very good value and is in a good location.
