Imagine strolling along Fiskardo Port for some great waterfront pics when in the heart of Fiskardo. If you carry on walking you'll get to Foki Beach and Emblisi Beach for some more water views.
Acropolis of Sami is just one of the landmarks located 0.8 mi (1.3 km) from central Sami, so you might want to stop by for a few pics during your trip.
Notable for its seaside, Sami features attractions such as Acropolis of Sami and Melissani Cave Lake. The city has something for everyone including sights like Antisamos Beach and Myrtos Beach within a small-town setting.
"The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. We did two tours that the concierge recommended and loved them. The restaurant has the best food on the island. Highly recommend! "
"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sami Beach Hotel. We’d booked 3 nights at the hotel but ended up staying for 10 nights as we were massively let down by the villa owner on the day of arrival in Kefalonia (we’d booked 5 months prior). Caroline on reception and owner Spiro couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely family run hotel.
20 minutes walk to supermarket and restaurants on the seafront. However the restaurant in the square, few minutes walk is very good and great atmosphere. Would suggest a car to explore other beaches. Alternatively “Hop On” boat hire just by the hotel is run by a nice couple so you can explore the coast and go to beaches than cars are unable to. Would recommend this hotel to friends & family. "
"We had a wonderful 3 night stay, in July, at this magical B&B. The property boasts the most incredible view overlooking the bays of Fidkado and onto the Island Ithaki. Maira and her team go above and beyond to make your stay a truly memorable experience. The attention to detail and clear instructions are very helpful. The rooms were exceptionally clean and on arrival there was a welcome snack and drinks all made with local ingredients. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared with the option of cooked eggs to your liking. We walked down into Fiskado, stopping off at Fiko beach on the way and getting a taxi back was no trouble. This stay comes highly recommended. Agnantia B&B offers the warmest welcome throughout your stay."
"The place was basic but immaculate - kept spotless by the managers who were incredibly friendly, approachable, helpful and kind.
Eleven out of ten. Top-notch."
"Although a small apartment kitchen/dining, shower room and bedroom. Good balcony overlooking pool and out to see with uninterrupted views of those magnificent sunsets.
You do need to hire a car.
Although limited utensils we could make our own breakfast. Although there is breakfast available at 15€ pp.
Plenty of places to eat locally all drivable. "
"Fantastic apartment with good soundproofing / adherance to quiet hours. This is not a hotel; during your stay you are responsible for keeping your space clean. Our room was sparkling upon arrival, with a gorgeous view of the mountain across from us. Our host was very considerate and even let us try some of her homemade wine.
The apartments were walking distance from several phenomenal restaurants. The beach I would not recommend walking to. The distance is small but the incline is massive.
Our host also provided a pamphlet with her recommendations on the island. We had already planned the trip, but there was so much more we learned about from her- we would certainly consider another trip here.
I would love to spend more time in this apartment. I will mention you will not get a long shower here, as this is an eco-friendly site and water is scarce in Greece. "
"Great experience, stayed in the Perla suite. Kind & helpful staff. Room cleaned daily-staff was willing to come back when we hadn’t left yet. Good location to explore the island. Well equipped kitchen for whatever your cooking needs sans an oven. Close to Sami for restaurants, shopping, ferry, & Antisamos. Local tavernas good with lovely staff as well. "
