If you want to see a show while you're in town, try and grab some tickets at Gran Rex Theatre in El Centro. If you enjoy the show and want to see another, Colón Theatre, Multiteatro Buenos Aires, and Teatro Nacional Cervantes are all a short walk away.

Close to many attractions, awesome restaurants and bars - local music scene is very good with Jazz bars and folk music. Walking is so easy and very safe.
Friendly desk staff, comfortable beds and pillows with air conditioning in the room that works well... large kitchen for cooking and a bar with good prices... they feature events most evenings...excellent location, great area to walk around and close to public transportation. Area is safe and clean with a police station just a few doors down... the antique elevator is awesome....seriously one of the best hostels I've visited...highly recommend!!!
Our pre cruise, four-night stay at the Casa Bevant (CB) was truly memorable. The hotel is very centrally located. Turn right upon exiting the hotel and the Recoleta Cemetery, the Recoleta Urban Mall and a host of sidewalk cafes, restaurants and even bars are within a 5-minute walk along a lovely tree lined street. Turn left and there are more coffee bars, bakeries, a major supermarket and if you need it even a place to have your suitcase repaired (we needed that). The hotel itself is well...
I can’t say enough about the entire staff. Especially the Hotel Management and the entire staff. Everyone I had interactions with went above and beyond to make my weeks long stay the best ever!!!
The Hotel was beautiful and I loved examining the exposed structures that you have to see in person!!!
I will definitely return on my next visit!!’
Thank you all👍👍👍👍
The studio apartment was adequate for 3 women travelling together. It is located one block away from the 24-hour street. Everything was very clean, including the pool on the rooftop, although it was a little bit chilly to use it.
Communication was not good. On our last day we found out about the extra mattress disguised behind the bed; one of us slept in the sofa. We had a hard time to figure out how to open the door; we called a couple of times and got immediate answer, but it was hard to...
Great location nearby to shopping, restaurants and transport. Also the staff were cheerful, very helpful with my visit. Any questions I had about area shops, restaurants the staff were always giving useful tips. So much appreciated as we didnt know the area.
I was delighted in every way by this hotel. It is absolutely deserving of its 4*, i found it above European standards in aesthetics and comfort. The staff were both professional and friendly, allowing us an early check-in. There were no defects in the room (the only sign everything in it wasn't brand new was a little rust on bathroom vent), which was bright (with amazing balcony vdirectly onto the obelisk), comfortable, classy. Lobby areas are welcoming, cool, clean, and tranquil respite from...
nice city take the subway, visit the stadium la boca the ferry to Uruguay el Caminito Lujan the Basillica
the pink house one think the City Buenos Aires looks dirty the streets a lot garbage around.
Great walkable location for just about everything. Pedestrian street near main avenues and subway stations. Friendly helpful multilingual staff -- they will call you a taxi that arrives in 5 minutes--and will look up the fare for the distance for you in advance! Rooms are basic with minibar, but with enough space for your own cheaper purchase of bottled water, etc. each day from nearby shops. Some concerns--not limited to this hotel. During summer heat waves in Buenos Aires (90 degrees); air...
Hotel Lyon is close to everything: Metro stations, local bus stops, the Congress area, and downtown landmarks. If you prefer to walk a little bit, you can just walk to the downtown area including Plaza de Mayo and the famous monument. Most of all, the staff is helpful and Hotel Lyon provides a free nice breakfast. I'd stay at Hotel Lyon again should I visit Buenos Aires one day again.
