"Spacious room with all the amenities and quite big bathroom. There wasn't balkony with the room but was one on the end of each floor. Coffee, tea and little snack available every day downstairs at the little patio next to reception.
In the middle of buzzing neighborhood, having big market 2 minutes away, walking distance to the city centre, with beautiful temples on the way. Plus food carts in the evening just out the door.

"Very quiet and relaxing location, much nicer than being in the city! This does however mean it is around a 15 minute drive to Chiang Mai (costing around 150 baht using Grab). Definitely worth it, staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious and different each morning."

"We had a magical time staying at Ban Rai Tin Thai Ngarm Eco Lodge. This is a family run lodge surrounded by their beautiful garden and the mountains, a paradise away from the city. The hosts are the most hospitable people I have ever met, they made us feel welcome immediately. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts give advice and maps of the area to explore. My only regret is not staying longer, I never wanted to leave. If you are thinking about booking here, do it, you will not regret it!"

"Nice and comfortable, the bedroom was in great condition and balcony was really nice. Air con was also working, although we didn’t need it for our stay. We did notice a spot of old blood on the duvet but it seemed like a stain, and was otherwise definitely clean. They also provided a kettle and coffee for the morning, and assisted us with a late check in."

"El Dueño super desagradable y tacaño. Solo dio 1 botellita pequeña de agua para reserva de 2 adultos y las 2 noches siguientes denegó dar agua!!!!! Me dijo que me la podía vender. Cuando en anuncio pone que hay agua embotellada para clientes. Tampoco hubo ningún balcón. Aunque así se vende la Gaby, que dispone de balcón. "Le lieu est magnifique, mais il faut pas avoir de problème de genoux le dénivelé est incroyable, surtout pour aller au village la descente difficile la montée presque impossible. Interdite au trop ancien. Sinon la piscine bien que très confortable, personnellement je déconseille au enfant de moins de 15 ans . Le pourtour de la piscine n est pas sécurisé et une chute de 3 mètre sur du béton est très probable au enfant jouant autour de la piscine. "

It is located on top of a very steep hill and no mobile taxi service will come here. The hotel can call you a car but it will be very expensive and take at least an hour to arrive. You also may have to walk a long distance down the hill to get to your taxi with all your luggage as most cars won’t try to make it up this hill but the staff is more than happy to help you carry your...

"Loved our stay at Phuoobfa Resort, the people that run it are so lovely. Went above and beyond to make us comfortable and feel welcome. They even got us a gift at the end of our stay which was so kind. Our bungalow was clean and big, we got fresh towels and there smokes everyday really brightened our mood. Will be back for sure!"

"Lovely kind staff who even gave me free motorbike trips down to the main intersection. Nice room with a big big bed. In fact it was a whole cabin rather than just a room. I appreciated the coffee and sweet snacks they provided for breakfast. The owners essentially could not speak any English and there was no real reception area just fyi, but they easily made up for this with their hospitality.
Only downside is that it is quite a way from central Chiang Mai, if that's where you plan to visit...
