Hotel N'vY
10/10 Excellent
"I really enjoyed this hotel. It was well located, close enough to walk to the lake and the UN and it was incredibly quiet which I always appreciate. The staff were kind and helpful."
"Very clean and modern. Great location. Rooftop terrace was narrow without a view, however. Breakfast was excellent. Weirdly- our very very small room had no storage- not a shelf or a hook so be prepared to literally live out of your suitcase!"
"I was in Geneva end of June during the heatwave. First accommodation had to be abandoned as it was too hot (no aircon). This property was amazing. Communal area was cool and welcoming. Room was basic (no kettle etc) but the aircon was spot on. Would consider this place again for location, cleanliness and wonderful staff. Free chilled water on pumps at the bar - wonderful touch."
"I arrived at Hotel D with high hopes, especially given the strong Expedia reviews. I found a property with a tiny lobby without a well-developed common area. The room was nice, fairly spartan decor, modern, and comfortable. The big problem was the lack of air conditioning in the common areas and insufficient air conditioning in the rooms. OK, it was an extremely hot week in Geneva. But even at night, with windows shut and within the closed space of my room, with the A/C temp set at 17 degrees Celsius, I couldn't get the room sufficiently cold. The staff were very nice and were sensitive to my issues. But didn't get much responsiveness, perhaps because they knew there wasn't much they could do. Overall, I had a reasonable experience, but expected more from a hotel with average reviews above 9.0."
