"What a pleasant surprise ! I truly enjoyed my stay here and in fact, I have extended my stay and remain here as I write this review. First it seems to be a more pedestrian, bargain and perhaps more of a business hotel given how it runs slightly different in comparing to a traditional 4-star hotel, turned out the overall environment is quite clean and given the fact it’s only opened about 3 years ago in a newly built 28-story building. The staff are very courteous and helpful. I enjoy the small but non cluttered gym, coffee/teas offered in te common area and the pay-per-use laundry facility is quite practical. Here has become one of my new fave when-in-Taipei."
"It is in a convenient location, right next to the Daan Station (red and brown lines). The room is always spotless, and the staff is friendly. I have revisited every time I am in Taipei."
"We’ve stayed here for two weeks and this hotel is by far the best in service. From the cleaning staff, front desk, concierge, spa to the restaurant staff…everyone was respectful and polite. The hotel was super clean and spacious. Our kids enjoyed the pool, free snacks and soft drinks in the room. Water stations on every floor. Clean Laundry room. Free onsen spa sauna and steam room. It’s really one of the best hotels we stayed at. (We’ve stayed at many old Starwood and Marriott properties)
Thank you Miramar Garden! We will be back!"
"The hotel needs to brighten up the elevator and hallways. It is so dark that you can barely see anything. Brightening it up also makes it more cheerful.
There is no shower cap provided in the bathrooms.
The floors needs to be changed to a smooth one for modern day luggage to move around and it looks cleaner than carpet.
The elevator and rooms needs to be upgraded to a card instead of the old fashion key. This provides better security for its guests and easier to keep track of. My husband lost one key and we paid $8 USD. A card will be much easier, less bulky, more convenient and less costly."
