"This was an amazing hotel - family owned and staffed by the nicest people. Everyone made us feel very special. The buffet breakfasts are incredible - so ,any choices and everything is fresh and appealing. Our room was very nice - on the top floor so very quiet. Our only complaint - common to the other European hotels in which we stayed - is no drawer place so we pretty much lived out of our suitcases, although there was ample closet space to hang things. We were there for 8 nights. ...

"From the moment you walk in, the tone is set. This is a small, intimate hotel that takes good care of its guests. Service with a smile and efficiency. This is a good place to arrive after a long airplane trip. The room was smallish, but well-appointed with quality linens. Everything shipshape and in order. Got a room with a view of the park, and all was quiet for a good night’s sleep. I have found my new home away from home in Stockholm. "

"This was an excellent choice in every way. So comfortable and quiet for a great sleep. Outstanding staff. Breakfast complete with smoked salmon, meatballs etc etc etc. And wonderful pastries! The ambient setting is beautiful, as if one were dining outdoors. There are comfortable seating options outside the front door where one can relax and enjoy unlimited cappuccinos. The location is 1 minute subway stop from Stockholm Central Train but I preferred taking the T Central Tram/Bus minutes...

"I was staying in Lidingo again - just one night. The Foresta hotel is perfectly located. Don't let the 1960s facade outside put you off - they have done the inside up very well. Terrace bar outside is pleasant with decent weather, with loads of seating inside when not. The 6th floor restaurant is excellent. Be sure to use that - and take in the view of Stockholm. Not much parking at the hotel, though. Check-in is at the bar through the entrance. Nice staff. The new spa opens soon,...

"Great hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast is very good - could be a little more varied. Some of the rooms are showing a little wear in places but every time I’ve stayed have been immaculately clean, very spacious and comfortable. Hotel is generally very quiet and nicely located by the park and some great restaurants. The gym is small but functional. First pick when I stay in Stockholm."

"My family and I visited this hotel because of its convenient location near the American Embassy. We had an appointment there and the hotel was just a short walk away. Parking is paid, but it’s a great feature to have. The breakfast was delicious and well-served. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend this hotel."

"Our stay at The Six was absolutely lovely. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and polite throughout our visit. The room was fantastic — the beds were super comfortable, and the whole space felt warm and welcoming. Housekeeping came by daily. The location is perfect. "Room was large and suited family of 4. Bathroom had shampoo and hair conditioner plus hand cream which is much appreciated in this cold weather. Short walk to train station and check in was easy even at 11pm at night! Luggage storage was a great convenience as well with no charge. I would stay here again if back in Stockholm. "
