Property is not a Ritz Carlton ... BUT for a small German town this is a Gem !
We stayed three nights and the room (#7) was wonderful. No frills, like Coffee Maker or other fancy gadgets that in the end you really don't need (but pay for).
A few thoughts: If you plan on having breakfast the Hotel offers a GREAT variety in the morning. Absolutely worth it!

I had such a nice stay! While family was at Fachklinik Dr. Herzog, I stayed here, only a few minutes walking distance. I enjoyed a comfortable and clean room, patio, a lovely breakfast daily and helped myself to a beverage in the evening from the cooler (leave cash, with the honor system). My hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. WiFi is much stronger here than at the Klinik, so I could easily communicate with members at home. Fantastic experience and definitely recommend this quaint hotel. It used to be a mansion to a rich aristocratic family (von Löw), who then became a poor aristocratic family and the building fell into disrepair. Completely renovated by investors 27 years ago, but a lot of the original features remain. Property has easy parking and is located just outside of Butzbach; easily reachable via the A5. I was impressed from beginning to the end of my stay. The hotel was very modern and I found it very comforting. Don't be fooled by the unimpressive exterior because once you step inside, it'll be like being in a modern art museum.
Staff was super friendly and always ready to help. AC was great especially after long hot days outside. The Restaurant next door was very convenient and there was always plenty of parking available.
