"This place is suprisingly good. Even if the rooms might feel big on paper, they are divided in 1 bunk compartments which gives some privacy. As the hostel is big there is plenty of space to move and the common area/bar downstairs was nice. The location is perfect to avoid hustle and bustle of downtown but close to bar area Kallio and well connected to the airport and and train station. Highly recommend."

"the hotel is very nicely located in the peace and quiet of nature. there is a little lake nearby and it’s a good starting point for hikes. Though the hotel has a bit the vibes of a youth hostel we liked staying there with four adults."

"We had a fantastic stay at Backby Manor with our family. The spa area was great for both kids and adults: a warm pool, plenty of floats, jacuzzi, cold plunge, separate sauna areas and a steam sauna. Everything was clean and relaxing. The room was very tidy and comfortable. The manor restaurant was beautiful and the food was excellent. The location is peaceful with nearby nature trails.
