"Hotel is centrally located in the heart of Cape Town, very nice and close to many good restaurants. Great rooftop on the 14th floor.
Food is very good and prices are reasonable.
Only complaint is the service is a little slow and it’s maybe because they are under staff.
Overall a good hotel to spend a couple of days."

"An absolute gem of a hotel right in the heart of the "old town" area near Kloof Street. Beautiful colonial style design with fantastic local artwork throughout, amazing (cool) pool, honesty bar, secure on street parking (security watchmen at all times) and the most amazing helpful staff I've ever had at a hotel - emails and information on things to do, restaurants etc was outstanding. A really brilliant hotel in every way!"

What an amazing experience. Despite our fluctuating schedule requirements, Ciska was fabulously responsive. Upper floor rooms, seaside and Table Mountain side were fabulous. We will definitely be bacjk!

Bliss was a peaceful getaway from the busyness of the city. The wonderful staff and delicious meals made the stay so enjoyable. The view of table mountain and being so close to the beach were great! Highly recommend.
A warm welcome greeted us on arrival. The team gave helpful advice and nothing was too much trouble, even offering to run to the pharmacist for medication. Breakfast was delicious. A wonderful boutique hotel with fantastic staff. Highly recommend.

We stayed in one of the 7 Airstream caravans on the roof, was actually an amazing experience and loved it. There is a roof top theater and bar and staff are very friendly and efficient. The building is old but very well maintained the elevator in the building could be 50 years or more old and has been modernised but it keeps its lovely old character. I would highly recommend this hotel especially if you want to experience the real Cape Town and explore this unique and historic city.

I have been traveling to South Africa for over 20 years,I have usually stayed in local flats so this was my first hotel experience. The Hyde is a small venue providing all amenities needed for a "home away from home' even including an iron/ironing board. I was received very well by the staff and got attended to whenever I needed assistance. I would recommend this for anyone traveling on a budget who still wants to stay in a warm, welcoming space. Breakfast is my highlight, and I had good views, too. So I will totally recommend it. I ended up booking the ONOMO in Johannesburg as well, and I hope to get just as good a reception.
This was German hospitality at its best. The staff is also very friendly and helpfull. The management is very attentive to the needs of the guests. There are many good shopping centres within close driving distance.
The guesthouse is also close to public transport facilities to use tot hte scity centre
