"Stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Stoke on Trent and couldn’t fault it. Check-in was spot on—friendly, genuine, and brilliant with our kids (colouring pack + cookies went down a treat). Room was spacious with sofa beds already set up, which made life easy straight away. Breakfast was excellent—loads of choice and constantly topped up. Just book ahead as it gets busy. Great for families. Would definitely stay again."

"Good communal area for children and staff were pleasant. However there was a very strong unpleasant smell thoughout the hotel and in the rooms. There was also large stains on the carpet in the hallways which were wet - we assume they had been recently cleaned. Breakfast was ok - however they had ran out off pastries when we attended at 9.30. Overall unlikely to stay again due to cleanliness/smell. "

"Nice hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was very good although was busy as was a weekend. Dinner in the brasserie was OK, not a huge vegetarian choice and flavours not great. "

"Rooms were too cramped. The carpets in the hall and inside the room were dusty and smelt bad. The pressure in the showers was inadequate. Breakfast was ok and parking was sufficient even for a late arrival. "

"Bar offered a very good selection and the breakfast was good but only available between 8 and 10 am. By 9.50 however there was little left and some of the food had been sitting around for too long."
