The accomodation was excellent & the breakfast superb.The room was very clean & welcoming. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay & definately will be staying there again if we are down that way. Also the garden is beautiful with lovely views. "

"Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay."

"As I find stairs difficult with luggage, and no lift, staff were helpful and changed my room from 1st floor to ground. Staff were pleasant but bar service could be improved. The waiter was covering the kitchen and bar. He walked past me twice, while I stood at the bar, but I still had to open the door to the kitchen, and call, I had to ask for ice and lemon, but didn't get the lemon, it didn't seem available. Just small things really but could be improved. "

Breakfast was excellent but the hotel does not offer an evening meal on most nights. Plenty options in town though. Staff were friendly and the pub in the hotel was friendly too. Safe and secure storage for the bikes was provided too."
