"Our first stay at Dusit Thani Pattaya marked our introduction to the Dusit hotel chain in Thailand. As loyal Hilton and Marriott members, we came in with certain expectations—and there were definitely highlights worth mentioning.
The service truly stood out. The bell staff, reception team, and café barista were all wonderful—friendly, polite, and genuinely warm. Their kindness and attentiveness gave us a strong sense of Thai hospitality and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
However, the room condition was a letdown. It felt old, outdated, and had an unpleasant smell. We honestly couldn’t imagine staying in the original room without the upgrade. That said, we deeply appreciate the effort made by the staff to accommodate us with a better room—it made a noticeable difference in our experience.
On a positive note, the lobby is absolutely beautiful and creates a great first impression. The property’s private beach in Pattaya is also a rare and valuable feature, offering a relaxing and scenic escape. Combined with the signature Thai charm in service, these are the elements that would draw us back.
Overall, while the service and setting shine, the rooms would benefit greatly from refurbishment to match the otherwise lovely experience."
"Oh they had breakfast! The room was in the very back of the hotel. The toilet was open to a soi and people sounded like they were in there with you. Other than that I like the room, pools were clean. Room was dated but I like that old wood style. Under $20 on soi 2 Pattaya beach. Did not try the bar, too many flies."
