The Eldan Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here 14 nights. Very pleased with everything. Comfy bedding and it stayed cool and we were on the top floor so good A/C. I'd stay here again. Huge selection from the breakfast buffet but it's not free. Great quiet location and walkable to many popular places. Front desk people can help you with whatever you need. We told them we needed a ride to the airport and to take credit card only and right on time the driver was there $150 to the airport. Yes we checked around, due to gas prices. The only complaint we'd have is it would be nice to have a desk or something to set your suitcase on."

The David Citadel Jerusalem
8/10 Good
"Our stay at the David Citadel in Jerusalem was truly wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, the location is incredible, and the atmosphere makes it feel like a very special place. What stood out most, though, was the amazing staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay exceptional. The level of service throughout the hotel was outstanding. There was really only one negative part of our stay. We were in room 945, and unfortunately, the mattress appeared to be broken or damaged on one side. It was very uncomfortable and made it difficult for me to sleep properly. I didn't report it at the time because between jet lag and very busy days, I was simply too exhausted to deal with having it looked at or potentially changing rooms. Based on the incredible service we received everywhere else, I have no doubt the staff would have addressed it immediately had I said something. I mention it only because I hope the hotel checks the mattress for the next guest. Aside from that, our experience was exceptional. Beautiful hotel, fantastic location, and truly wonderful staff. We left with great memories and would absolutely stay at the David Citadel again."

The American Colony Hotel – Small Luxury Hotels of the World
10/10 Excellent
"A charming and quiet hotel with a unique atmosphere. The historic building is stunning and beautifully preserved, giving the entire place a lot of character, and the inner courtyard is a great spot to relax. The Building: Gorgeous heritage architecture with classic stone arches and timeless charm. Rooms: Clean, spacious, and very quiet. Service: Polite, professional, and helpful. Overall, a comfortable stay in a remarkably unique setting if you appreciate history and a calm vibe."
