"We stayed in the premium deluxe room and it was beautiful. Nice big windows and a nice big bed. The mini bar is included in the room, however. The only “snack” included was 1 packet of crisps and 2 caramel wafer biscuits. There was choice of mini bottle of wine. But only one of Diet Coke can. The hotel itself was lovely, the main toilet area in reception was very aesthetically pleasing. We sat down in the lobby to watch the football and it was pleasant even with the amount of people in there. Food was delicious and the choice at breakfast was fantastic. We were woken by the fire alarm at 6am unfortunately, which was sad as a lay in was on the cards. Also, coconut milk shows as an alternate option on the card in the rooms but they don’t actually have this option. All in all, the staff, the quality of the food and the stay were superb"

"Nice hotel and great location. Bit noisy given the nightlife around but expected. Was a warm night so left window open too so partly self inflicted. Air con was non existent but a fan was provided Smooth check in/out and no breakfast but bar area looked very good"

"Nice room, but the bath didn’t drain making the shower a bit of a paddling experience, but friendly staff and good food. £20 to use the pool felt a bit pricy but overall a nice hotel."

"Half hall not finished other side inside floor without carpet. I had good sleep well.. but I couldn't reach close the window long bay shelf.. lol. Red sofa but bit low.. lol. Disabled shower room is bit old floor & flood toward front door inside bathroom.. toilet seat bit close sink but it ok..other handles hold are brilliant.. lol thanks for stay hotel."

"This is an honest review. We loved the vibe of the hotel. The staff was trying and were helpful to a fault. The area the hotel is in is quite run down and I wouldn’t want to be walking alone at night. I understand that sometimes staff can’t work , but the restaurant and pub were closed the first night which meant calling for food delivery. The beds were good , but the floor was dirty , the toilet was dirty with hair on the back of the toilet seat. We had to go down and get toilet paper. The hotel is walking distance to the major attractions, during the daylight hours. Again , the staff was great and tried hard. I got the impression that perhaps the ownership group was young and I admire that. Honestly have to give it a 3/5. If you want funky and character this place has it. All the best! Chris."
