"A very good hotel close to the historic centre and multiple restaurants and shops. It’s an old building with a lot of character and very comfortable with helpful staff. The rooms are relatively small although well designed to enable sufficient storage/ wardrobe space for a few day’s visit. We would certainly consider staying there again."

"The front desk staff is excellent. The hotel is conveniently located .2 miles from the train station. The rooms are newly renovated and very nice. The location is perfect for walking distance to the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. Lots of great restaurants are very close."

"Globus Urban in Florence is in an excellent location and, although in a older building, the rooms and bathrooms are modern and not at all fussy. The staff was very friendly, helping with translations and directions. Excellent breakfast - both sweet and savory. The central market is a block away for cheap-ish meals, and there’s a self-service laundromat around the corner. Major sites and the main train station are within walking distance. I highly recommend it."
