"I hated the TV controls. KI tried to watch free Tv. Spent about one hour trying to get TV. Finally I gave up. You need directions on a piece of paper in each room explaining how to use the controls. Extremely frustrating. At checkout the clerk told me Windom was going with this TV in all their motels. I thanked her an told her I will never stay at a Windhan motel "

"The El Rancho Motel was great. Very clean, friendly. Their concern for our comfort was nice. The only complaint was that Hotel.com had overbooked the room we were to be in. The lady that runs the motel was able to offer us another room. Next time we will book directly through the facility!"

"At first glance, every horror movie with a seedy motel came to mind, and for the price, I didn't have high expectations. However, the owner went into our room before we got there and turned on the AC unit and the TV in preparation for our arrival. The room was quaintly decorated and very comfortable. "What an amazing place!! The rooms are freshly remodeled with higher end finishes. This is not your average motel!! The owners are supper nice, and it almost had a bed and breakfast vibe. They made all the guests a homemade breakfast with homemade breads, jams, muffins, etc. They have a nice outdoor sitting area as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay."

"The hotel is a great place to stay. Breakfast was also very good, home cooked. The owners had pleasant conversation with all the guests.
The only consideration i would make is to sweep the cement slab so it is easier to park motorcycles. Highly recommend staying there!!!!"

"It was an older motel, we like to park in front of our room door. It’s easier when you have to walk your dog. Real close to hot springs national park and the bath houses and dog park. We were there one night, but the room was very clean and comfortable. Would stay there again."

Its weak points are cleanliness (terrible!), very dirty carpets and dirty bathrooms (lots of hair). Breakfast is not enough for all guests (that's lack of coordination, number of guests vs. amount of food)."
