"The Tarbet hotel was our favorite stay of our 9 day trip to Scotland. The historic building on the shores of loch Lomond was peaceful and serene. The staff was great and even upgraded our room for free which was a real treat. The restaurant and drinks were good as well. The real show stopper is the view of the loch and the location. "

"I have rated this stay high because it was excellent value for money. Obviously the area and views are outstanding. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We decided to have dinner at the hotel because they had great options and the Korma we ordered was probably the best I’ve ever had. It was delicious and fresh and we were so impressed with the quality of the food for the price. It’s my 2nd time staying at this hotel and it’s been pleasant both times....

"This place was amazing. A cute little cottage tucked away privately. Received a lot of snow our first night and decided to walk down to the little in at the bottom of the Mountain for breakfast which was amazing. The hot tub and fire place were great. The host met us when we arrived. Directions were great but we weren’t sure we were in the right spot. "
