"Our 4 night stay at Palazzo Velabro was wonderful! Our room was spacious and had a large balcony that over looked a garden and faced the Palatine Hill. The location is fantastic as the property is located within pretty close walking distance to several historical sites including Circus Maximus, the Capitoline Hill, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. We also had no problem walking up to the Pantheon or Baths of Caracalla. The Tiber River is right across the street as is the bridge to Trastavere....

"Very spacious room with style. Very clean and comfortable. Location is good enough because the bus station is right there in front of the building. Many buses pass by can take us to Roma termini. Colosseum is in walking distance. Some good Resterants are very close but you’d better making reservation ahead of time. Hotel owner is very helpful. He even helped us taking suitcases upstairs, which make the only shortcome (no elevator) not problematic."
