There was a window without a shade or any window covering, the shelf in the bathroom was broken, there were stains on most of the towels and linens (as well as on the tray in the room) and one of the lights was broken. "The Lavana hotel was in a great location. Near central market and in the heart of Chinatown. The hotel was a little dated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Reasonable value for money. The area was one of the homeless hotspots at night. They were not a problem and kept themselves to themselves. Nice people going through hard times. I would consider staying again. "

"The hotel was good for the price I paid. The room was very large and clean. We were lucky enough to have a partial view of the Petronas Towers which I was happy about. However, the room did have some moderate wear and tear. The walls really needed to be painted and the bathroom had a leaky roof which the hotel did address. Despite this I was was still a good stay."
