"The owner was was very kind, friendly, and accommodating and had a cute gift shop. She also made a wonderful breakfast that started out with a baked apple! The yard and house were decorated very nicely for the holidays, complete with music to add to the ambiance. The room had everything we needed and included an amazing copper bath tub that was wonderful to soak in. Overall it was a great place to sleep and relax with much more character than a hotel room could ever have. "

"My family and friends came up for the American Birkebeiner ski race. We were unable to get into our usual place so thought we would try this place. It’s a very clean hotel with comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We liked it so much we decided to stay again next year. "

"This is the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Sheets were dirty, slept in clothes on top of the bed. Place smelled like cat urine. Doors were dirty, water bottle and beer can on the floor. Left a day early couldn't stay there any longer. Health department should shut this place down. I'm contacting them tomorrow. Want a refund of one night "
