"The palace is a huge hotel two minutes walk from the beach. Parking is free and secure at street level next to the hotel. Hotel was mostly quiet during our stay but some music at night nearby Didn’tbother us. Balcony in the Spacious room with a comfortable bed. We located within walking distance to sunset, restaurants and beach strip, coffee, shops, restaurants, stores, etc.."

Comfortable, clean, spacious cabins with aircon and a relaxing garden view. Really liked this place! Only downside is the restaurant (and drinks at the bar) is expensive and could be better value - but there were several decent options outside. "

"Palace long hai was the perfect retreat after a good Vietnam holidays touring from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh. Right from the welcoming reception at the resort by Van (Natalie) to the wonderful bell Tuan to the nice Tuong in the restaurant, every one was so good. The resort has a fabulous swimming pool and the cottages are very nice. Opposite the resort is the Long hai beach, which is very clean. Overall we stayed two nights . Highly recommended."

This would have been extremely unsafe if the area was busy. However, due to COVID, all constructions were halted, possibly for years, and the whole area looked deserted. Umgebung ist ok, nicht unbedingt auf Touristen ausgelegt
aber das ist auch gar nicht notwendig wenn man Erholung
sucht, das Essen ist frisch und ausgezeichnet.
Der Strand ist für vietnamesische Verhältnisse sehr sauber
und das Service ist perfekt.
Die Villen sind wunderschön und es ist sehr ruhig.
Wenn man Erholung und Ruhe sucht hat man dort alles was man
braucht und noch mehr.
Und wenn man dann doch einmal einen Ausflug machen möchte ist

"The public accommodation areas were tired but always clean. Housekeeping staff couldn't do enough to make my Stay enjoyable. The breakfast buffet and in fact all meals I had were what i expected, hygienic and ample quantities, no dirty dishes left on the tables.The front of house staff were polite, efficient and willing to go the extra mile"

"Darby Park was a nice place to stay, the room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Having a separate living area was very convenient. We were not in Vung Tau for the shopping but good restaurants were a short taxi ride away and the coffee shop across the road was handy."

"The Lotus is ideally placed opposite a sandy beach. The grounds are very well kept and it has a nice pool. The rooms are a bit tired but clean and has everything you need, even a kettle! Exceptional customer service. Breakfast was pleasant. Well worth the money."

"Staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and I was upgraded to a twin room, which was bigger and suited me because I was just travelling for work. Bed was comfy, and shower was good, as was the price at the time
Location is great for the front beach, but a bit further away for shops and back beach (well worth going there!), but, they also did motorbike hire, so with that, the whole place is opened up. If you haven't ridden in SE Asia before, the city highways can be a bit hectic even...
