A wonderful find on our way to Zermatt! I wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was efficient, clean, and charming. The breakfast was stellar and the location is incredibly convenient to the train station. We didn’t get to use the spa, but it looked gorgeous. Don't hesitate to book!
The Hotel’s style brings you back to the 1930s. It is perfectly maintained with modern amenities. The staff was wonderful and eager to fulfill our every request. The breakfast was a 10 !!! The restaurants on the property were superb. Let’s not forget the location, you can just walk out the back door and get on the ski lift. We will re-book for this December. I highly recommend this property.
This is a nice little hotel on a mountaintop. The views are unmatched. The breakfast was a massive spread with good food. The restaurant was excellent. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
Do take note that in winter, taking the funicular will cost you 15 minutes just getting up/down the hill. It was 34 CHF for a taxi from St Moritz train station less than 10 minutes away. Bus was like 5.50 and departure was somewhat timed with funicular. So it’s commute from town.

Our room had great big windows that opened, wonderful sheets and crispy comforters ! Would have enjoyed fireplace earlier than 5 pm on a rainy day but used sauna which is lovely. Organic restaurant...fit our expectations.
We had a double mountain room and it was spacious and clean. The hotel is newer and in a beautiful location with great views and very close proximity to bus stop. Everyone who worked at the hospital was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of offerings (and with a big buffet area and two coffee makers, it never felt crowded even when the hotel was full). Stayed here for one night before catching glacier express out of st moritz. Will definitely stay here again. The hotel is a bit away from the town, but they offer shuttles. The hotel restaurant is excellent. I also especially enjoyed the hot tub with the most stunning view of the mountains
Don’t let the exterior photo fool you. Although the photo makes it look like a giant ice cube, it does not look like that in actuality. It is a perfectly lovely hotel with kind and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and all the amenities you will need. Would stay again.
What can I say other than I had an incredible 5 night stay!
I enjoyed the included wonderful breakfast spread, hiking 3 days with the included hotel hiking guide, going to the Wellness area, afternoon treats. They will also pick guests up at the Pontresina train station. I had such a marvelous time at Hotel Walther, that I will be going there again next year but for a longer stay.
We stayed in other fine hotels the 4 nights we visited Switzerland but Hotel Nolda gave us a true Switzerland experience. There by the river and looking out at the mountains we enjoyed the convenience (bus stop nearby to rail station) and beauty of a grand old hotel with wood beams, beautiful carvings, great service, clean facilities, and wonderful breakfast. This was a great way for us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.
Staff was amazing- friendly, helpful, and inviting. Our room was basic and the bathroom was quite small, but to be expected at a hotel of this age and charm.
Beautiful hotel that tries to strike a balance between the super-ritz and the run of the mill chains. The local wood used to refurbish the rooms was a surprisingly nice touch (and made the rooms smell good!) The front desk staff was very friendly in all interactions. Good restaurant and breakfast -- again, friendly staff. It was pricey, but what isn't in St. Moritz?
