Excellent. Very comfortable, plenty of space, indoor pool, total quiet, well stocked fridge for guests, very good breakfast. Only minor issue is that the location is a bit remote from the nearest villages - definitely a car needed, not walking distance. Plus you will need Google Maps to find it (may not be a bad thing!).
We spent 4 nights at the lovely Petit Manoir in the Josephine Baker room. The facilities were great, large bedroom and bath, lots of storage room for clothes, location couldn’t be beat, and historic ambiance was everywhere. For disabled or elderly, I would not recommend it bc you have to walk up a large wooden spiral staircase (yes there is a railing, but a bit tricky for those whose balance is a little off). The hotel facilities are great, but, the staff is outstanding. All were extremely friendly and helpful. I will surely stay there the next time I am in Sarlat.

This hotel was fantastic. The location was excellent with easy access to parking and the downtown hub. The staff was very friendly. The room was perfect. The bed was comfortable and everything was so clean. Would stay here again.
We have been in France for about 2 weeks, staying in a variety of places and I feel like we hit a home run with our stay at Hotel Bon Encontre. Christine is an extremely accommodating host who worked very hard to meet guests' needs. The hotel is in a wonderfully central location for exploring Dordogne. There is ample parking, which was a relief after fighting for parking spaces elsewhere!

Our stay here was amazing, very comfortable with quality linens and furniture. Location was convenient to different sites in the region. Anne was a gracious and warm host that made us feel comfortable immediately and had suggestions what to do in the area. The food was outstanding. One of the best places we’ve stayed at in over 30 years of travel. We stayed 4 days, wish we could’ve stayed longer.
This place was absolutely wonderful. Clean and comfortable, beautiful surroundings and our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Great breakfast, too. Close to many villages as well as Sarlat, without being in the thick of the city. Would definitely stay there again if I return.
