At the edge of the world, colorful houses lean into fierce Patagonian winds as if sharing secrets about the explorers who once passed through. The Nao Victoria Museum lets you clamber aboard a faithful replica of Magellan's ship, complete with creaking timbers and salt-weathered ropes. Fort Bulnes offers dramatic clifftop views where you can almost hear the ghosts of early settlers. Museo Regional Magallanes occupies a mansion so opulent it seems transported from Europe by mistake. The real stars, however, are the penguins. Take a boat to Magdalena Island where thousands of the tuxedoed residents waddle about with charming indifference to human visitors. Their colony at Seno Otway provides a less crowded alternative for those willing to make the journey.
VERY clean, a comfy bed, very friendly and kind staff, nice included breakfast. Glad they lock the exterior entry door for safety and security. And then your room has a key lock too. As a female solo traveler i felt a bit uneasy walking around the immediate area, (due to bars) although i discovered best route is to stick to the uphill-downhill road that runs along the main tourist plaza until you reach the hotel’s street and THEN cut over the 1 or 2 blocks to reach the hotel. A man/men, or...
The rooms were large and well equipped. The staff was friendly, helpful, and had excellent English. There is dinner available at the on site restaurant. It was both reasonably priced and delicious. Breakfast, included in the room rate, was also great.
Many thanks to the young man at check in who helped us get into a room a bit earlier, and gave us a map to a place to have our laundry done. He was wonderful!
We arrived in Punta Arenas on a very bitter and frustrating note. LATAM lost our bag, which we didn't get back for 5 days with all our gear, Europcar wouldn't rent us our booked car and refused to help us.
We were halfway considering dropping a 3 week vacation.
Sarah one of the owners, helped us with a local contact for car rental which was right around the block, and were the most friendly and helpful people we could have wanted.
She also offered to communicate with LATAM to have our bag sent...
Awesome boutique hotel. Super friendly accommodating staff. Rooms were spacious and accommodations excellent. Great food. Highly recommend this experience.
Very nice place with clean comfortable beds and wonderful breakfast. Good location only 10 minutes walk to main area.
Highly recommend this place for your stay in Punta Arenas.
The staff was always friendly, helpful, and available. Everything was exactly as described and expected. We liked our initial 4 day stay well enough that we changed our single overnight (10-days later) so we could stay here again.
It was an excellent location. We used a taxi from the bus station, but otherwise walked to all of our shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
Host was very helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport. This accommodation was Spanish speaking only but it was easy to communicate for someone with basic level Spanish skills. Also, location is very close to the bus terminal and downtown. Highly recommend.
Amazing staff. So helpful and responsive. WhatsApp was so helpful chatting with staff. They were able to help us with check-ins, taxes, buses, etc. They were just so accommodating and kind.
Great location just two blocks from Plaza de Armas. Nice hotel with many different type of rooms (we received an upgrade as the basic room does not have windows to outside). Check in was too long and confusing.
