"A bumpy start with our initial room experience. The response and reaction from Mapula ( the manager) in particular was outstanding and I am very thankful and appreciative of the effort that was made to ensure our stay was a fun one.
The staff are excellent, the food was great. Very relaxing time indeed. "

Food was outstanding most of the time. You have a luxurious feeling when there is a limit of 10 occupants on the lodge. Recommended 100% from our side!"

"Marataba is different from other safari lodges. First there are only two lodges in the whole park which means no crowds. Game drives where incredible with Big 5 viewings, but specially one of the 5 (won't Say for conservation issues) is everywhere. The mounitain and the view just makes this place magic. Staff Will do everything in their power to make You feel like Home. "

Arriving we were received by such friendly faces. The Luxury Tented Chalet we stayed in were overlooking the field where the game came to graze. We enjoyed the morning & afternoon game drives with the well informed guide, Ben.
On our first night we had an open air dinner prepared by the chef and staff, it was amazing!
We most definately recommend a stay at this 5 star lodge it will be an experience you'll never forget.
