Very enjoyable getaway near family and convenient to local shopping. We have been staying here every year and look forward to next year."

"I stayed at the New London Inn for two nights while my daughter was on a college visit. I had a wonderful visit at the Inn. The service was fantastic. I had a very late check in planned for after the staff was gone for the evening (11:30 pm). General manager happened to have stayed late and saw me in the parking lot. He carried my luggage up to the third floor for me. Every staff member I met was very friendly and helpful. The front desk has an assortment of cookies, water and sodas at no charge and in the morning, there is a small selection of pastries. I booked a third floor room with a queen bed and sofa. The room was adorable with plenty of room. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms don't have refrigerators, but the glass stoppered bottle filled with water was a nice touch. The Elms restaurant was excellent and has a great atmosphere. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely stay at the New London Inn."

"The decor of the Black Swan Inn, in our room and throughout was absolutely gorgeous. Everything whose beauty is enhanced by sparkle or shine did just that. Breakfast was delicious, prepared and served up by solicitous staff. The owner greeted us when we arrived and made us feel very welcomed. It was a great stay in a historic Inn. Anyone heading to Tilton and Lakes region should book there."
