We had a marvelous time at the Cypress Inn in Half Moon Bay. The room was modern and comfortable. We had a wonderful ocean view, just across a small road from the beach. The location was very quiet, just the sound of the ocean surf, which we love to hear. The breakfast was magnificent, plus they had wine and very tasty snack food in the afternoon. This is one of the best bed and breakfast inns we've ever had the pleasure to stay at.

Close to SFO for an overnight stay after a long flight home. They allow late check in but the shuttle service ended too early for us to be able to use so we had to pay for a rideshare service. The woman at reception was very friendly when we checked in and our room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. They serve a small but serviceable breakfast in the morning, which was nice since we still had a long drive home. Definitely recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

Exceptional hotel. Primarily, the staff was professional and courteous with personality. Ricky was outstanding at check-in, Giselle was enjoyable at the wine bar, and Kevin was kind at check-out. The room was quiet and very well designed. Little details in the design were smart and made it super comfortable. Love the blackout shades and the shade in the “window” of the bathroom. My stay was fantastic. The only negative thing I experienced was that they removed the US flag from its place of honor at the peak of their hotel in order to fly a pride flag in its place. As a veteran whos friends gave their lives for the US and whos coffins were draped with that flag, this was intolerable. There were plenty other places they could and did fly the pride flag. It should never fly in lieu of the Stars and Stripes.
