It was my first time staying and it did not disappoint. Its a very historical building so if you love the charm of hidden features this is it. The wi dows also open which was amazing being so high up with a perfect view of the capitol. I cant wait to book again. The desk attendant Fiie was very sweet and polite. Check in was easy and a breeze. The expedia VIP bag was cute and mich appreciated after my long drive.
Our room and stay were perfect! Clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the restaurant for drinks and dinner as well as breakfast. Walkable to all the monuments. We would stay here again!
The rooms were super clean! Hard floors and area rugs were a great touch. Property was beautiful. Pay to park was $46/night. But well worth it. Garage was attached and easy accessible.
Best part was the assistance I received from Derek the valet. He is very good at his job,he saved me time and money with his advise on site seeing and dining.everything thing at your establishment was great Derek was greater!
Although our stay here actually didn't occur I'll comment because of how well things were handled.
There was a last minute change that had us without a room there for the first of two nights.
The manager called me the morning of our scheduled check in telling me that the hotel did not have a room for the first night.
I didn't know that could happen. The manager had already found another hotel that was only 2 blocks away and set that up for us. He also comp'ed the first day. We decided to stay...
Weve stayed at the Hampton Inn downtown Washington dc 4 or 5 times, staff is great, rooms are well appointed and comfortable.
Weve stayed there while there lobby was being remodeled and now that its done its very nice and the breakfast area is large and accommodating. The area around this hotel is walkable to everything and plenty of places to eat.
The hotel is well maintained, clean and in an easily accessible location. The hot breakfast was great and the staff was very pleasant. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.
