"It took over an hour for me to be able to get into the cabin - wrong code for door. I received the correct code the next day. A door was left opened and that is how I was able to get inside - very unsafe. No napkins and no response. It took a little over 30 minutes to be able to get inside the community because of car check in. I was told parking was $40 per car and when I arrived it was $50. I asked for the listed price to be honored and was told no. I was told twice that I would get a response...

"Highly recommend staying here with its central location in the downtown and nearby hiking and adventure sites. The room is fine for a couple, but somewhat long and narrow. The AC cooled the room well and was not in the bedroom which kept the noise down. Bed was comfortable. Strangely the front desk staff had a pattern of being distant or grumpy, but not that important an issue. Overall, this was a perfect place to stay after a late night concert at Ironstone in Murphys."

"El hotel era barato por lo que tampoco se podía esperar mucho pero aún así tenía ciertos inconvenientes el hotel: la recepción y el desayuno estaba en el hotel que está enfrente que deben ser de la misma persona, no tenía ascensor para subir las maletas hasta la segundo piso y la habitación era bastante pequeña con poco espacio Más allá de las dos camas tipo Queen. El pueblo en sí tampoco tiene mucho para ver así que simplemente fue un hotel de paso volviendo de Yosemite a muy buen precio...

"We booked here as we visited Columbia to see The Wizard of Oz production and Sonora seemed like a great option. the Inn was beyond expectations. Host was fabulous, food was delicious, service and staff excellent. We have stayed all over the world and this was by far a place we would Highly recommend."

"We stayed at the Inn on Knowles Hill for one night, it was a perfect weekend getaway location. It’s a beautiful historic place in the center of Sonora. Both inside and outside the entire experience gave us flashbacks to another age. The house is in an amazing spot, located atop of a hill, but still in a walking distance to the downtown. Rhonda is an amazing host, we felt very welcomed and had a delicious breakfast. This was the best B&B experience we’ve had so far, highly recommended! "

"Nicely restored home in downtown Murphys CA. Stayed upstairs which required going up some narrow stairs but not a problem. Room with king bed and bathroom,decor and linens lovely. Made to order breakfast was delicious. "

"This is a beautiful Inn downtown Murphy’s. Our room was very comfortable and had a nice balcony. Walk to shops and restaurants. Close to everything."

"We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. We didn't plan for tennis, but the hosts are both ex pros; so if tennis is your thing,...

"Had a wonderful stay. We did not use enough of the court woods' amenities, but lovely view and lovely owners. Wish we had more time to play tennis while there, I cant imagine a more scenic spot."
